Large Entry At Kamo Pig Sale
Walter Wakelin reports having: held his usual weekly pig sale at Kamo yesterday when a large entry of fat pigs came forward. Owing to the decrease in most exporters’ schedules, prices showed an easing tendency. Weaners were in short supply and the few pens yarded sold readily at advanced rates. Quotations: —Heavy baconers, £3 to £3 6/; medium, £2 10/ to £2 16/; light, £2 8/ to £2 12/; heavy porkers, £1 18/ to £2 6/; medium, £1 13/ to £1 ■'s/; light, £1 4/ to £1 10/; stores,, 15/ to £1 2/6; slips, 10/ to 18/; weantf to 14/6; choppers, £ls/ to £2 5 /. ’\
