In response to a demand from London for early supplies of New Zealand lamb, the first shipment of the season comprising 800 carcases of best quality lamb, shipped by the Hemuera, which left Auckland at daybreak this morning, will reach London on November 29. As Christmas buying will have begun, a high price is expected. •
