UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S CLUB

The University Women’s Club of Whangarei held its October meeting at the home of Mrs Menzies, Hatea Street, on October 14. During the evening Mrs Wynyard presented Mrs Keall with a crystal jug and expressed the best wishes of all present for her happiness in Auckland.

Hostesses for the evening were Mrs Menzies and Miss Himmel. On October 19 the Club entertained Miss Lucy Cranwell at the Marble Bar. Miss Cranwell spoke on her visits abroad.
