FISHER SHIELD SHOOTING
TROPHY RE-DONATED The Whangarei Rifle Club held a further series of shield shoots oyer ranges of 300 and 500 yards on Saturday. A tricky wind was encountered a|t the shorter range, but the conditions improved later with a light left wind. The shield 1 was donated by Fisher and Sons and was won outright by J; Litchfield, who redonated it for further competition. Scores were:— ' 300 500 He. Tl. W. Norris 44 47 J#H. Ashton .. 44 46 K. J.
