PERSONAL

Mr H. W. Brodie, overseas passenger manager, at Montreal, for the Canadian Pacific Railway, and Mr A. W. Essex, passenger manager for New Zealand for the same company, returned to Whangarei yesterday afternoon, after having visited the kauri forests, Opononi and Russell. They stayed in Whangarei last night, and returned to Auckland today.
