PUSHED OFF JETTY
CRASH ON TO ROCKS. MISFORTUNE AT REGATTA. An unfortunate accident occurred at the regatta at Onerahi yesterday. Mostyn Green, aged 18, was among a crowd on the jetty when he was inadvertently pushed off and with the tide at a low level, *he struck the rocks head-first. A scalp wound, cut avrist and abrasions were suffered, and the unfortunate youth was conveyed to Mr P. Basley’s launch Dawn, where he was attended by St. John Ambulance brigadesmen, on duty during the day. Green was conveyed by car to the Whangarei Hospital, where his condition this morning was reported as satisfactory. The injured lad is the third son of Mrs A. Green, of Kamo Road.
