BUTTER DROPS AGAIN Messrs Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from London, dated December 4, reading: Butter, 91/ to 92/. cheese, white, 50/ to 51/; coloured, 53/ to 54/. Both markets steady. MAUNGATUROTO PAYOUT On December 15 the Maungatiiroto Dairy Company will pay out the sum of £11,900 at the rate of 10Jd per lb for superfine butterfat supplied in November. The December pay-out for 1934 was at the rate of 7d per lb, and absorbed £7,791. This year’s figure shows an increase of over £4,000 in one month.

Production is keeping ahead of last season and to the end of November the company had manufactured 429 tons of butter, compared with 425 tons over the same period in 1934. The figures for the month of November show an increase of two tons over the same month last year.
