The weather was fine and there was a large attendance. The track was in ideal order. Results: — Toka Toka Hack Handicap, of 120 sovs; seven furlongs.—(2-2) Tin Lap, 8.2 (Goldfinch), 1; (3-3) Ballymoney, 9.0 (Taylor), 2; (1-1) Racette, 8.3 (Winder) ,3. All started. Won by a length and a half; three-quarters of a length. Timd —1.28.
Hobson Handicap, of 130 sovs; one mile. —(1-1) Tybalt, 8.11 (McTavish), 1; (4-3) Solomon, 7.0 (Savage), 2; (2-2) Adeline, 8.1 (Keesing), 3. Sir Abb and Coronis were scratched. Won by half a length; three-quarters of a length. Time—l. 39.
Maiden Handicap, of 100 sovs; six furlongs.—(2-1) Lorna Acre, 8.6 (Winder), 1; (6-5) Needful, 7.12 (Savage), 2;, (8-8) Nicodemus, 7.12 (Bentley), 3. Barograph, Valise and Survanna were scratched. Won by two lengths; length. Time —1.14.
Avoca Handicap, of 150 sovs; six furlongs.—(2-2) Crooning, 7.7 (Clifford), 1; (5-4) Impasto, 9.5 (McKenzie). 2; (4-5) Sinking Fund, 8.9 (Gilmer), 3. Solaria and Solomon were scratched. Won by three-quarters of a length; a neck. Time—l.l3.
