Kohukohu

The monthly meeting of the Kohukohu Institute was held in the public library, Mrs Gabolinscy presiding. The roll-call, “A Scotch Story.” caused great amusement. A parcel of children’s clothing was made up to be sent to the Rawene Hospital. Arrangements were finalised for the trip to Whangarei Council. Mrs A. Pearson contributed an amusing competition, which was won by Mrs J. Pearson. The monthly competition was won by Mrs Stancliffe, with Mrs Wright second and Mrs Ashby third. The November meeting is to take the form of a “bring and buy.” »
