Helena Bay

The, monthly meeting of the Helena Bay Institute was held at the residence of Mrs Bradney. In the absence of Mrs Le Clerc, Mrs Bradney presided. The motto was: “To do little is bad, to do nothing is worse.” The competition for the jaest so ft toy 'whs won by Miss R. Booth,. Mrs Connell and Mrs Bradney being second. A ' loan exhibition, “The oldest thing in my house,” resulted in a very interesting display of old china, lace and silver. The time was pleasantly spent choosidg articles for the group meeting. The hostesses, Mesdames Bradney and Anderson, served afternoon tea.
