Opuawhanga
' Mrs O’Hagan presided over the October meeting of the Opuawhanga Institute, held in the hall. The roll-call, “Uses of Kerosene,” was well responded to, and the competition for any kind of beret was won by Mrs Nankivell and Mifes E. O’Hagan first, with Mrs Thorburn next. An enjoyable social hour was spent, and the hostesses, Mrs Nankivell and Mrs O’Hagan, served afternoon tea.
