KAIKOHE W.D.F.U.

There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the local branch, held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Friday. Mrs Young (Taheke) gave an interesting account of the proceedings at the half-yearly conference at Ohaeawai. Each member brought to the meeting an article which she had made herself. These were sold, and the proceeds will go-to the Community Chest. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Slatter and Bartle. Both these ladies are from Mataraua.
