AWANUI

SPORTING CABARET. For bright • and novel entertainments Awanui is taking a leading place in the Far North. The latest idea is “The Sporting Cabaret,” which has been fixed for Thursday next in Evans’ Hall. Mr Norman McDonald, who is acting as secretary to Miss Mabel Ford’s committee in the Queen Carnival contest, is, with the aid of his committee, providing for the record attendance he feels justified in expecting in the interest aroused. The name of the cabaret makes an all-em-bracing appeal to which there is bound to be a big response.
