CALM DEMONSTRATIONS
FRENCH WORKERS RESENT “CUTS.” (Received 10 a.m.) PARIS, August 11. In cities throughout France today the workers calmly demonstrated against Jhe reductions in pay. At Lille the electricians cut off the current for a quarter of an hour, and the bus workers struck for three-quarters of an hour. The dock labourers at Rochefore demanded the summoning of Parliament. Left Wing parties held an indignation meeting at Angouleme and exsoldiers demonstrated in several towns. ' • • '
