MUDGWAY BEATS OXLEY. [Special to ”Northern Advocate"! AUCKLAND, This Day. At Waihi on Saturday night, a 10 rounds professional contest was staged between Neville Mudgway, of Waihi, 9.12, welterweight champion of New Zealand, and Ted Oxley, of Pahiatua, 9.8. former lightweight champion. The bout was won on a narrow points margin by Mudgway.
