(Received 11 a.m.) ] BRISBANE, This Day. . j Five drownings, as a result of flood- j ed rivers, occurred yesterday. j A mother, whose surname is May, 1 and three children, were drowned when their rowing boat struck a tree in the middle of the Maclntyre River. The husband reached the bank after frantically trying to rescue his family. Arthur Findlay, aged 17, lost his life when trying to cross the swollen Ther,osa cjeek on horseback and was .sweet , away.
