POSTPONED GAMES. THE UNION’S POLICY. PASSES FOR WORKLESS. Affairs in connection with the forthcoming Rugby season were discussed by the Management Committee of the Whangarei Rugby Union this week, Mr. C. F. Collins presiding over a full attendance of members. A special feature of the meeting was the application made by the Mangakahia Club in regard to its organisation at Mangakahia, and it was decided by the committee that the Whangarei delegates attend a meeting at Parakao to discuss matters fully this evening. The season will officially start on Saturday, when the Mayor, Mr. W. Jones, is to be asked to conduct an official opening.

It was decided that when there is only-a single game in the, country it should start at 2.30 . p.m. In the event of games being postponed, it was decided that the postponed games be played on the following Saturday.
