WELLINGTON, This Day,
Eugene Charles Dominie McCarthy, w v ho gave himself up at Mt. Crawford gaol, Wellington, on Friday, eight days after escaping from a prison camp at National Park, appeared in the Police Court today. He was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment in addition to the present sentence.
