The Madrid correspondent of “The Times'’ states that incendiarism in connection with the general strike at Barcelona is believed to have been the cause of the destruction by fire of two important construction company depots on Saturdav.
Troops quelled disorders in the streets and the Civil Governor closed the headquarters of building syndicates and had additional arrests made.
Four people have been killed.and 12 wounded since the strike began. • : 1
Ninety-seven recalcitrant miners emerged exhausted from a mine at Cardona last Tuesday after spending 12 days underground. “
