The Moscow correspondent of the “Manchester Guardian’’ says that Soviet aeroplanes flew near the Manchukuo boundary for the first time since the Sino-Ru-ssian conflict in 3 920.
Mnnclnrkno’s o flip in Is have openly challenged flip Soviet’s sole ownership of the Chinese Eastern Railway and the Soviet lias retorted in an impassioned statement defending its ownership, and charges Manchukno with desperately trying to undermine the entire structure of the treaties on which the joint administration of the railroad rests. It has instanced the seizure of Soviet rolling stock and violence against Soviet employees. The Soviet considers the situation the most dangerous threat to world peace since the invasion of Manchuria.
