(Per Press Association. —CopyrlfrUt.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. • Two young motor cyclists were kill ed in accidents yesterday.
At Belfast, in the morning, Herbert Beettie Stone, aged 17, of Radley Street, Woolston, who was riding a motor cycle, met a motor car in a head-on collision and was killed instantly. Apparently he pulled out of the line of traffic to turn a corner and met the car coming in the opposite direction.
Edward Wilson, a young married man, of Sinclair Street, North Beach, was motoring on the Waimairi Beach in company with R. M. Bickerton.

Noticing 1 his companion had dropped kick, Bickertou looked round and saw WiLon lying on the sand near his machine, the front tyre of which was tlai. It is presumed that the bursting of Hie tyre caused Wilson to be thrown from his machine and he suffered injuries which proved fatal.

An elderly man, Tom Mason, a Public Works employee at the East Coast: railway camp, was found dead on his hut at the No. 2 camp at Kopuawhara yesterday. Another employee, William Clemas, was injured by a fall of earth at Kotemaori. He was very badly bruised, but it is thought there are no internal injuries. A Maori schoolboy fell off a swing and broke a leg at the Tuai Public School

A head-on collision in. Idris Road resulted iu four, out of six, occupants of two cars receiving injuries necessitating removal to hospital. The drivers were uninjured and both cars were badly damaged.
The injured were: —Lillian Melnn.es, injuries to face; Winnie Mclnncs, aged .10, fractured leg; Daphne Mote, aged 14, fractured nose; Thomas Canty, injuries to nose.
