LEFT EYE INJURED. PAINFUL ACCIDENT TO A WOMAN (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Mrs J. L. Whitting,ton, Woodvillc, was the victim of an 'unfortunate accident a few days ago. She-was practising golf when a hall, driven by another player, struck her on the kft eye, inflicting a painful injury. She is an inmate of a private hospital and it is feared that she will lose the sight of the eye.
