SHOOTING AFFRAY SEQUEL
FURTHER REMAND GRANTED,
TIMARU, This Day.
At the Magistrate’s Court, Bernard Lewis Blackwell and Ernest Gladstone McGunn appeared on remand, charged with, on May 11, at Otago, entering the dwellings of William Alfred Ancell and Robert Barr with intent to commit a -crime. This was a sequel to a sensational shooting affray. The former was also charged with assault. On the application of the police a further remand was granted till May 29.
