The second day of the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting is favoured with fine weather. The course is in good order and the attendance large. Results. —■

Whitelight Handicap of 300 sovs; one mile and a half. —(4) Little Logan, 48yds, 1; (3) Duke Bingen, 00 yds, 2; (11) The Toff, 30yds, 3< All started. Won by a length and a half. Time —3min 25 l-ssec.

New Zealand Derby Stakes, of 1000 sovs; one mile and a half. —(1) Daphne d’Oro 1, (2) Eugene d’Oro 2, (4) Harvest Child 3. All started. Won by throe lengths. Time —3min 25 4-5

'Courtenay Handicap, of 1000 sovs; two miles. —(2) Tom Thumb, scr, 1; (5) Away, 12yds, 2; (9) Talent, 12yds, 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time —4.30 1-5.

November Handicap, of 400 sovs; ■two miles. —'(2) Trimmer, 36yds, 1; (3 ; Jewel Pointer, 72yds, 2; (1) Author Jinks, 00yds, 3. Elzear was scratched. Won by a length. Metropolitan Handicap, of 400 sovs; two miles. —(3) King Pointer, 12yds 1; (13) Binscartli, 12yds, 2; (7) Evelyn Locanda, 24yds, ?. Carbine Direct was scratched. Won by 10 lengths.
