ARMISTICE DAY
TWO MINUTES’ SILENCE. OBSERVANCE TOMORROW. Tomorrow, November 11, is the ninth anniversary of the signing of the armistice between representatives of the Allies and Germany which led to the -end of the World War. The ■usual observance of the two minutes’ silenee which has been arranged as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the war -and which ha-s been kept up annually since, will be indicated by the tolling -of the fire-bell at the appointed'hour, which is 11 a.m.
