(Received 11.31 a.m.) j SYDNEY, This Day. j Replying to the welcome extended jto the New Zealand University footj ball team by the New South Wales | Rugby Union, Professor Boyd Wilson j said that the Soccer code was making great headway in Now; Zealand owing to the influx of English migrants. He expressed the opinion, however, that it would never replace the older game and hoped the present visit wmuld help the cause of the Rugby code in Sydney. The president of the Sydney University Football Club stated that the Sydney team this year is the best since the war.—A. and N.Z.
