SEA PRODUCTS
PARTY TO INVESTIGATE. PERTH, This Day. By the steamer Gasgoyne which left Fremantle for Singapore, via northwest ports,, a party travelling under the aegis of the Royal Geographical Society sailed for Broome. Under the leadership of Mr Douglas Stuart Wylie, of Auckland, the party comprised Mr Frank Burnett, of Vancouver, Mr William Maiden (mineralogist), Mr F. J. Stewart, of Perth, and Mr Bernard C. D. Ryder, of London. Mr Wylie said that the party would investigate the possible development of sea products. Among the special tackle are two nets, one of which is 200 yards long and 24 feet deep, with a 2 feet mesh, shark hooks, measuring 2 feet in length, with 7 feet of chain, and a -formalin tank for preserving .marine specimens. ' '
