ESCAPE FROM DEATH
i < ' f ' MAN UNDER TRAM. ' SYDNEY, This Day. ; John Campbell, aged 48 years, of 43, Rowntree Street, Balmain, had a remarkable escape from serious injury, or evep death, at the Epping 'junction, when he fell under a tram car, which passed completely Over him before it came to a standstill. Campbell fell on to the roadway between a coupled set, and the rear ear passed completely over him before the driver had time to stop. The injured man was picked up at the rear of the tram and conveyed to the Rozelle tramway depot, whore Iso was 'treated for abrasions and allowed, to go home.
