SUGGESTED HALL WORK. WHAT OP NEW ZEALAND? (Received 12.7 p.m.) LONDON, February 14. A picturesque suggestion is made in the paper “Commercial Art’’ to the effect that all Empire goods should have a hall-marked symbol, such as the Wembley lion, in order that they might be easily recognisable. The place of origin could be printed below, using, for example, U.K. for United Kingdom, and A. for Australia. —A. and N.Z.
