—— LAUSANNE POURPARLERS. DEBT DISTRIBUTION. TURKEY'S LATEST DEMAND. ; (Eeceived 11 a.m.) LAUSANNE, May 3. During a keen discussion in the Finance Committee the Turks demanded that part of the Turkish debt should be allocated to Greece and Serbia. They refused to accept a share of the debt for territories taken from Turkey. M. Venizelos pressed Greek opposition strongly.—A. and N.Z. PAYMENT IN GOLD. DECLARED IMPOSSIBLE. (Eeceived 11.50 a.m.) LAUSANNE, May 3. The Finance Committee announced that payment of the Ottoman debt was required in gold. The Turks declare that this is impossible, owing to Turkey's financial situation. —A. and N.Z.
