ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
HOTELS REHABILITATED.
IN NORTH ISLAND.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 14.
The North Island Electoral Boundaries Commission has practically finished its labours. The principal difficulty in the North Island was.that three licenses houses would under the first proposals have been shifted from 'wet" to dry districts. The commissioners have been able to rearrange matters in such a way that these houses will still remain in "wet" districts. In Otago there are ten licensed houses, which, under the first proposals, would go into dry districts, and the commissioners will have great difficulty in rearranging matters. Apart from the hotels difficulty it is expected that the commissioners will make slight changes in the proposed boundaries, and perhaps even in the names of the electorates, but the latter changes are not considered of any importance except in the way of sentiment.
