rIIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT,
WELLINGTON, November 13
The High Commissioner's market report for last week is as follows, quotations unless otherwise specified being average market prices- on spot:—
Meat. —Home-killed mutton and beef are in fair supply, and are selling at maximum prices. No supplies of .New Zealand mutton and lamb are available, and there are no quotations. Argentine mutton is selling at ll}_d, and Argentine lamb at Dutch mutton is in fair supply at ll%d. The prices of Argentine chilled beef are: Hinds, fores, 9%d,
Butter. —Unsalted Paris is quoted at 256/8; both salted and unsalted.-Dan-ish and Dutch, 229/. British-made hutter, ex-creamery, factory, or farm, 230/; in 1 lb. or 2 lb. rolls, 244/. ' All descriptions of butter are very scarce. Dutch creamery, Paris, and Argentine are selling at maximum prices.
