OVER NINE THOUSAND PRISONERS
The High Commissioner reports:— An official announcement says that the French carried the village of Be zonvaux, north-east of Verdun, the totakof the prisoners made being 9200, also 50 officers and 81 guns. There is nothing important to record on the British front.
