WHAREORA ROAD BOARD.

MEETING ON SATURDAY.

The Wihareora Road Board held its final meeting before the election of the new Board on Saturday. Present: Messrs J. R. Reyburn (presiding), W. Donaldson and H. L. Sands.

It was resolved to communicate with Mr H. R. Cooke, regarding the removal of soil from Swing's road.

The Otangarei road was considered to be badly in need of metalling and it was resolved to apply for a grant of £100 to do the work.

It was decided to order 13 twenty four inch pipes for replacing wooden culverts; and that the County Council be written to respecting the renewal of culverts in Fleming's road, inviting the Council to provide the pipes, the Road Board undertaking to lay them.

Notifications to remove noxious weeds, Avere directed to be sent out to several persons concerned. Accounts to , the amount of £43 were passed for payment, and the Board rose.
