ROME, Sept. 14. Terrible stories are published of famine in Germany: \ The Government has taken all the vast accumulation of food at\ Hamburg for the troops. . \ Factories are closed, traffic has ceased, and fifteen hundred j ships are idle in the harbour. J Eggs cost ten marks per dozen.
