y \. WARDER SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS' IMPRISONMENT. \ CHRISCHURCH, Aug. 25. The hearing of the charge against Joseph Martin Chapman for striking Charles Thomas McMekin, an inmate of the Sunnyside Mental Hospital,, was concluded at the Supreme Court on Saturday. The jury returned a verdict of guilty, and accused was sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
