The brewers' employees have sti-ucic over the question of pay. Barman and cellarmen demanded £3 sy. a we ok and the right to board out instead of £2 5/- and keep.
A conference failed to reach a settlement.
The liquor trade employees' officials called on the brewery workers to cut off supplies, and unelss the trouble is settled the barmen will cease work today.
