Life With Father

Tho Palmerston North Little Theatre Society, in presenting such an outstanding play as “Life With Father," is certainly making it possible for the Manawatu public to see a famous comedy classic that has met with unprecedented success overseas. “Life With Father," unlike most other plays, has a wide appeal. It is filled to overflowing with happy, vigorous life. An audience is invited to laugh, to love, to watch life tangle and ease, mock, domesticate and sweeten itself as the years of a family go by. It is an authentic, well-bred and hilarious household picture based oil a vivid, tender and thundering temperament in the father and in the mother the safe motif of the impractical female, struggling with the tradesmen's bills, and red-haired and red-headed enough to carry the struggle into the heaven of loving indulgence. To this are added the problems of young love and the servant question. “Life With Father" can be thoroughly recommended. It is a play that will long be remembered with extreme pleasure. The Little Theatre Society (Inc.) will present “Life With Father" for a limited season of three nights commencing Thursday, November 22, in the Opera House at 8 p.m. Interval music will be supplied by the Little Theatre Salon Orchestra. Bookings at Collinson and Cunninghame’s open to-day.
