World Parliament for Youth

LONDON, NOV. 8. Delegates from 60 countries attending the World Youth Conference ratified a draft charter providing for the establishment of a World Parliament of Youth. Great enthusiasm was shown when, after a four-hour discussion, the new Constitution was adopted. Delegates leapt on to seats and shouted, cheered, and cried in many languages, “Long live the World Federation of Democratic Youth,” the name by which the organisation will be known.
