(From Our Own Correspondent.) Congratulations to Air. Scaddon od reaching the great ago of 80, and also on looking as if he were good for another 20 years at least. In a seven-a-side match on Friday the Convent A team beat the Public School A team by eight points to nil. There was a fair attendance at the euchre party run by the Beach Improvement Society. The men’s first prize was won by Air. Andersen and the second by Air. A. Crowe. Alesdames Gay and Dando, Snr., played off for the ladies’ first and second prizes, Airs. Gay winning. The consolation prizes were won by Air. Lash and Airs. Rosvall.

Mr. E. Kilgour, of Kairanga, who with Airs. Kilgour has been visiting Wellington, spent a few daj’s with his mother here before returning home.
