Returned Soldier Killed In Car Accident

Through, being struek by a car at the north side of the Mangaatua bridge ou the Masterton Road near Woodville last evening at about 6.15 o’clock, John Dunford, of Masterton Road, Woodvillo, aged 32, single, was killed. He was a returned soldier farmer, settled under the rehabilitation scheme. His parents reside in Palmerston North. An inquest will be opened this morning at 10 o’clock for purposes of identification.
