Ballance Red Cross Unit

At the annual meeting of the Ballance Red Cross unit, Mrs. C. H. Wilton presided. Opportunity was taken to bid farewell to two members, Mrs. Jas. Gibson and Miss E. Gibson, who are leaving Bailance shortly. A silver toast-rack was presented to Mrs. Gibson by Mrs. Wilton, in recognition of her services as honorary secretary, while both Mrs. Gibson and Miss Gibson, were asked to accept floral presentation baskets. The president, Mrs. Wilton, was reelected; Mrs. R. Cleghorn was elected secretary, and Mesdames Harrington and E. Fulton new committee members. Competition winners were Mrs. Gibson and Miss Hay. Mrs. Harrington delighted with vocal solos.
