Feilding W.C.T.U.

Mrs. B. Spence presided at the annual meeting of the Feilding W.G.T.U., when all officers were re-elected for the ensuing year. Mrs. {Spence thanked members for cooperation and especially those who distributed leaflets before the poll. The annual report showed steady work throughout the year, special collections having been forwarded to headquarters, for Maori work and to the Timaru and New Plymouth {Seamen’s Pest. Polling results were discussed and regiiet expressed that Invercargill had again become re-licensed. Three new members were initiated by the president and Mrs. Tremaine gave a very helpful message, “Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.” Afternoon tea was provided.
