“LET’S FORGET THE PAST” Yes, it was Mr. Holland who said in 1935 every unemployed man a job at standard pay, with full time employment, as Labour promises to do.” And it is Mr. Holland who proclaims the National Party policy “Every man is entitled as of right to well paid creative employment.” Yes, it was Mr. Holland who said in 3938 “On the present basis the Social Security scheme is applied lunacy.” And it is Mr. Holland who declares that the National Party would now maintain Social Security. Yes, it was Mr. Holland who said iu 1935 of the present government.” The depression government! And it is Mr. Holland praising the National Party policy statement “The conditions of the depression prevailing in 1931-1935 need not and shall not be allowed to happen again.” The conversion of the National Party overnight is not a very convincing performance.
