Hawke’s Bay Spring Show
The Spring Show of the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society will be held on the Tomoaua showgrounds on Wednesday and Thursday, October 20 and 21. The Society is to be commended for its decision to hold its annual fixture. Several sections havo been extended and a number ot new and valuable special prizes ana trophies aro offered, so that the show should equally be as successful as the many line shows held in the past. The schedule includes full sections for horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, fleece wool, poultry, needle aud fancy work, knitting, home-spun wool, etc., also horse competitions. General entries close on Wednesday, September 29, at the Society’s Office, Church Lane, Napier, and schedules may be obtained on application to. the secretary.
