Ex-Premier Expelled From Australian Labour Party
SYDNEY, Mar. 6. Tho former New South Wales State Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, has been expelled from the Australian Labour Party by the New South Wales State executive. The voting was 23 votes to eight. The general charge made against, him alleged disruptive tactics in tho Labour movement. Mr. Lang’s expulsion moans that he will not receive endorsement us a Labour candidate for the next Federal elections, in which he announced his intention of contesting his seat. His supporters claim that Mr. Lang may resign control of the State Labour Movement at the annual conference in June.
