“GERMANY HAS RIGHT TO SYRIAN AERODROMES’’ Received Friday, 1.36 a.m. LONDON, May 22. The British United Press correspondent says General Dentz, French High Commissioner in Syria, at a press conference, said: “France has no aggressive intentions against Britain, but will be compelled to oppose force with force. Germany has a provisional right to use Syrian aerodromes under article 12 of the Franco-German Armistice. I assure Syrians that no German interference or occupation will take place in Syria.”
