Sapper C. Andrew, of Trentham military camp, was a recent visitor to Air. and Mrs. V. Rowe, Ormond Street. Air. A. Skinner, of Palmerston North, is at present staying with Mr. and Airs. S. P. Skinner, McLean Street. Airs. Halpin and Aliss B. Halpin, Napier Road, have returned after spending a few days at Waitarere Beach. Miss AI. Wall, of Hastings, is visiting Air. and Airs. D. Kemp, McLean Street. Airs. R. G. Suiter has returned to Wellington after spending some weeks with her parents, Al r. and Airs. W. (J. Arrow, “Sedgieigh, ” Hopelands. Air. and Airs. W. AlcConnack, of Wanganui, were visitors to Woodvillc during the week. Air. AlcConnack was manager of the local gasworks for 29 years.
