(From Our Own Correspondent.) There was an excellent attendance at the annual meeting of the Sandon Plunket Society. The president, Mrs. C. E. Kaye, w-as in the chair and extended a welcome to Mesdames V. J. Stitchbury and T. Donaldson, of Feilding. The report submitted by the Plunket Nurse showed that there had been 97 visits to the rooms by adults, 0(3 babies and 21 children, making a total for the year of 214 visits. Election of officers resulted:—Patroness, Mrs. J. H. Perrett; president, Mrs. C. E. Kaye; vice-presidents, Mesdames E. D. McKelvie, J. L. Bowater and O. C. Ellern; committee, Mesdames J. Currie, J. Scott, H. Knight, B. S. Lawrence, K. B. Jordan, D. G. Jeitch, and S. L. Orr; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs. T. A. Adams; advisory board, Messrs. W. E. Pearce (chairman), H. V. Bond and C. E. Kaye; delegates to Feilding branch, Mesdames C. E. Kay and T. A. Adams; hon. auditor, Mr. S. L. Orr. It was decided to hold a dance early in July to raise funds for the branch. Manawatu County Elections Nominations for all the Manawatu County seats closed on Monday and ail sitting members were re-elected unopposed.
