Makomako

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Personal and General Recent visitors to Mrs. B. Loyell were Mrs. Smith and Miss N. Olsen. Messrs. J. Sargent and F. Ebbett returned last week from an enjoyable fishing expedition to Taupo. Mr. J. Day is touring in the north. Messrs. G. and C. Eddie left on Wednesday for a fishing trip to Taupo. Accompanying them are Messrs. W. McLeod (Feilding), and Isakson (Pahiatua). Mrs. O. Sontag is visiting Hastings, where she is the guest of Mrs. A. Eddie. The shooting season was uvdftjred in by a southerly storm of wind and rain, but some good bags of ducks are reported. Mrs. L. Feilding and infant Cynthia are guests of Mrs. H. Sowry. Visiting Mrs. G. Eddie is Miss G. Isakson. Mr. and Mrs. A. Wylie are on a holiday visit to Wellington and Wanganui.
